Meticulous Heat Exchanger Servicing Refurbishment & Repair

Restore Efficiency | Maximise Performance | Extend Lifespan

Don't Let Diminished Performance Compromise Your Operation.

Expert Refurbishment for Peak Performance

Fouling, scaling, and internal leaks are silent threats that drastically reduce thermal efficiency, leading to higher energy costs and the risk of a critical, unplanned shutdown. Our comprehensive workshop refurbishment service goes beyond a simple clean, meticulously restoring your heat exchanger to its original performance specifications and extending its operational life.

Our motto, “Service Is Our Passion,” means providing prompt and intelligent support that keeps your operations running. We combine deep engineering expertise with advanced technology to ensure your heat exchanger returns to service performing at its peak, backed by our commitment to quality and Australian standards.

Our 8-Step Heat Exchanger Servicing & Refurbishment Process

A Comprehensive Process for Uncompromised Quality.

1. Disassembly & Expert Assessment

Your unit is carefully disassembled, and each plate is systematically marked and logged. We then conduct a full visual inspection to identify obvious signs of wear, corrosion, or damage.

2. Advanced Cleaning

This multi-stage process uses degreasing, chemical immersion baths, and high-pressure cleaning to remove all performance-inhibiting deposits from plates and frame components.

3. Plate Refurbishment

Our comprehensive heat exchanger refurbishment service goes beyond a simple clean. We completely remove old gaskets and adhesive, recondition sealing surfaces, and replace any non-compliant plates from our extensive parts inventory.

4. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Every single plate undergoes meticulous UV integrity testing to reveal microscopic flaws. We also conduct dye penetrant tests on critical areas like liners to check for hidden corrosion.

5. Interim Report & Consultation

Following our detailed inspection and testing, we provide you with a comprehensive report of our findings. We then consult with you to approve any necessary actions, ensuring you have full control and transparency before we proceed to the final reassembly.

6. Gasket Application

New, genuine quality gaskets are applied. For bonded types, we use our custom-built gas oven for a superior vulcanising process, ensuring a more durable and reliable seal.

7. Precision Reassembly

The reconditioned plate pack is reassembled in the correct order, and bolts are tightened to exact manufacturer-specified dimensions using calibrated equipment.

8. Testing & Final Certification

In the final stage, the unit undergoes rigorous pressure testing using either hydrostatic or gas methods up to its designed test pressure. This critical step certifies that the unit is 100% leak-free and meets all operational standards. To conclude the process, we prepare and provide a detailed service report for your quality assurance records, documenting all work performed.

Custom-manufactured or genuine replacement tube bundles, tubes, baffles, and other critical components for Shell & Tube heat exchangers, built to exact specifications.

Advanced Workshop Capabilities

The Technology and Scale to Handle Any Challenge.

We control quality, handle the largest industrial units, and deliver faster turnarounds because we operate one of Australia’s most advanced service facilities. Our 4,000 m² Beckenham workshop is purpose-built for the precision your critical solutions demand.

Unmatched Handling Capability
Our facility can service, repair, and manufacture Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEs) of any size, from the small to the world's largest. Equipped with 32-tonne overhead gantry cranes, we efficiently and safely handle the most substantial units, ensuring we can meet the demands of Australia's industry without compromise
Meticulous Surface Reconditioning
Our custom-designed purpose-built chemical baths and 4,000 PSI high-pressure washers allow for the thorough and effective cleaning of any size plate or component. We remove stubborn scale and fouling to restore your heat exchanger to peak thermal performance and efficiency.
Microscopic Flaw Detection
We utilise a large, purpose-built UV crack testing spray booth to perform meticulous Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on every plate. This process reveals microscopic flaws like cracks and pinholes due to fatigue, corrosionand erosion preventing cross contamination.
Durable, Long-Life Gasketing
Our custom built gas oven uses a vulcanising process to cure the industrial-grade epoxy glue commonly used on high pressure units. This creates a superior and more durable gasket.
Rapid Turnaround & Parts Availability
Our workshop houses Australia’s largest inventory of spare parts for Plate Heat Exchangers. This unmatched stock availability means we can replace components immediately, drastically reducing service times and getting your operation back online faster.
Hydrostatic or Gas Testing
Hydrostatic or Gas Testing
Heat Exchangers undergo rigorous pressure testing using either hydrostatic or gas methods up to its designed test pressure. This critical step certifies that the unit is 100% leak-free and meets all operational standards.
