ATC - E

The ATC-E line of evaporative condensers represents Evapco’s commitment to product development. The line is comprised of 181 models ranging in size from 25 to 2,637 nominal ammonia tons (107 kW to 11,360 kW). The induced draft counterflow condensers are designed especially for easy maintenance and long, trouble-free operation. The ATC-E Evaporative Condenser is an Advanced Technology, induced draft counterflow design condenser featuring EVAPCO’s patented THERMAL-PAK II ® COIL – the most efficient in the industry. The counterflow design provides the ATC-E Evaporative Condenser with inherently better operational and maintenance features The refrigerant is circulated through the coil of the evaporative condenser. Heat from the refrigerant is dissipated through the coil tubes to the water cascading downward over the tubes. Simultaneously, air is drawn in through the air inlet louvers at the base of the condenser and travels upward over the coil opposite the water flow. A small portion of the water is evaporated which removes the heat. The warm moist air is drawn to the top of the evaporative condenser by the fan and is discharged to the atmosphere. The remaining water falls to the sump at the bottom of the condenser where it is recirculated by the pump up through the water distribution system and back down over the coils.

The cATC line of evaporative condensers represents Evapco’s commitment to product development. The line is comprised of 24 models ranging in size from 128 to 357 nominal ammonia tons (551 kW to 1,538 kW). The induced draft counterflow condensers are designed especially for easy maintenance and long, trouble-free operation. The cATC Evaporative Condenser is an Advanced Technology, induced draft counterflow design condenser featuring EVAPCO’s patented THERMAL-PAK ® COIL – the most efficient in the industry. The counterflow design provides the cATC Evaporative Condenser with inherently better operational and maintenance features. The eco-ATC-A line of evaporative condensers represents Evapco’s commitment to product development. The line is comprised of models ranging in size from 125 to 2,900 nominal ammonia tons (537 kW to 12,470 kW). The induced draft counterflow condensers are designed especially for easy maintenance and long, trouble-free operation.

Forced draft centrifugal fan counterflow condenser for industrial refrigeration when reduced condenser height is required. Executed as per standard with stainless steel AISI304 sump and Z-725 (725g/m² zinc) galvanised steel casing. A LRC condenser is the ideal solution for sound-sensitive installations due to the centrifugal fan with forward curved fan blades to allow static pressure for the installation of sound-attenuators. EVAPCO’s Thermal-Pak® coils feature a patented design which assures maximum cooling capacity. The elliptical tubes of the coil are staggered in the direction of airflow to obtain a high heat exchange coefficient. The coils are manufactured from high quality steel tubing following the most stringent quality control procedures. The assembled coil is pneumatically tested under water in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC. Evapco Europe provides with each cooling tower a Thermal Performance Guarantee. LRC-units are constructed for maximum nominal capacity of 1,6 MW.

LSC-E

LSC-E centrifugal fan forced draft condensers are recommended for a wide range of applications. LSC-E models are very quiet and ideal for applications where noise is a concern. In addition, sound attenuation packages are available to further reduce the sound levels. The centrifugal fans can also operate against the static pressure loss of ductwork and are suitable for indoor installations, or those with inlet or outlet ductwork. These condensers are available in capacities of 26 through 1,142 ammonia tons (112 kW to 4920 kW).

The effective axial flow fans can reduce power requirements by up to 50% over centrifugal fan models of similar capacity. Simultaneously, air is forced in through the two stage vane axial fans at the base of the condenser and travels upward over the coil opposite the water flow. A small portion of the water is evaporated which removes the heat. The warm moist air is forced to the top of the evaporative condenser by the fan and is discharged to the atmosphere. The remaining water falls to the sump at the bottom of the condenser where it is recirculated by the pump up through the water distribution system and back down over the coils.
